   @lightweight Hmmmm, very much how I feel about them! I'm incredibly grateful for the software development work they've done, but the way they market themselves as an activist organization is very cringey.

   Especially when they ask "why are you holding us to a higher standard than other browsers?" when their marketing explicitly asks us to!

     Only took them 7ish years, but better late than never, #Mozilla. https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/mozilla-launch-fediverse-instance-social-media-alternative/ Still grateful for yer rendering engine (#Gecko/#Servo), browser (#Firefox), and mail client (#Thunderbird), even if you, as an organisation, seem to have gradually forgot the 'open' that you stood up and fought for all those years ago.
