Alright, stopped SMRPG at Land's End yesterday, so I should be stopping at Bowser's Keep or something today depending on how much I wanna do
- Machismo likes this.

@mischievoustomato It's almost exactly the same, up to the small details, monster stats, how monsters looks, minigames, etc.
It's the same except it flows even better because of the damage splash thing. However, most single targeting moves that used to be magic, like Crystal and Diamond Saw, are now blockable attacks and the damage is brutal if you don't block it now
There's a few changes, like Bowser's win pose looks like a Kabuki pose? The level up screen has been changed to a stage and everyone else (who is not leveling up) are dancing, for example
Removed the item menu, now you hold infinite amount of items, but there's limits to how much you can hold (limit is different for every items). You can now also hold all the equipments in the game too
-
how's the game compared to the original?
-
@mischievoustomato yeah, you had something like 2 pages of 15. It means around the Sunken Ship area, if you bought every weapons and armors, you'd start having to sell older armors and stuff right around then to make space for new
That also means you could abuse pick me ups and have almost no healing items, but making room for flowers, rock candies and casino card and co is annoying. Now you don't have to

this is confusing, i dont remember the original well, didn't you have a huge space for items and a huge space for equipment?
