     @WashedOutGundamPilot @IsraelDelendaEst @givenup yes, "my old beloved media will still exist" is just a cope, in the public consciousness the new skinsuited entries will be the face of the franchise, any newcomers you didn't directly groom into it will come preloaded with things that corrode your morale to the point where you'll never want to interact with anyone new about it again, the search terms will all be polluted and your entire universe will consist of your own mind and the handful of geeks you grew up with, at which point you will either bitterly cling to it for the rest of your life or let go of it all

     @birdulon @IsraelDelendaEst @givenup I get what the guys WANT to do, but I have yet to see it in practice, myself included. And I’m the kind of nerd who went out of his way to get the tie interceptor and b-wing toys for shelf ware. After a while, it got to be less fun to me, because everyone who comes into the office would start a convo about how gay star wars is today.
