THE PISTON BODY IS NOT RIGIDLY FIXED TO THE STEM OF THE BCG
THERE IS ONE RIVED THAT CONNECTS THEM AND A GOOD BIT OF SLOP AND PLAY BETWEEN THEM
IN FACT OTS PART OF WHAT ALLOWS THE TOLERANCES TO BE SO HIGH, AND ITS KIND OF AN ANTI-BOLT-BOUNCE FEATURE
THE GAS TUBE IS ALSO OVERSIZED TO THE PISTON DIAMETER AND NOT RIGIDLY FIXED TO RECEIVER OR FRONT TRUNNION OR BARREL

SOME AK DERIVATIVES NEVERTHELESS DO PUT A LITTLE SUPPORT SHOULDER ON THE PISTON BODY BEHIND THE PISTON HEAD, IT USUALLY LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE STAR OR SPROCKET OF A SLIGHTLY LARGER DIAMETER THAN THE PISTON HEAD
THEY ALSO FIX THE GAS TUBE TO THE GUN MORE FIRMLY AND MAKE IT TIGHTER ETC
