What that access gets them is increasingly debatable, but where can they move? China? They’ve spent centuries building up their infrastructure here. They have nowhere to go.
     They can’t have their cake and eat it too. There’s an end of the line for them. That’s the reality they’ve been fighting like Hell for the better part of a century.

     @nugger @IAMAL_PHARIUS Administration of the entire planet. Policy gets hammered out on wall street and then transmitted to provincial governors (us ambassadors) who tell local parliaments what bills to introduce and pretend to debate before passing. NYC is convenient because the administrators have the entire construction crew of the Tower of Babel at their fingertips so they can doordash child sex slaves of every race to themselves within 45 minutes, but the whole operation could be moved to any American city or even back to London or to Cyprus or Tel Aviv if necessary.
