@coolboymew
Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki is pretty low budget but does a decent job of translating the manga to anime. Not terrible, not great. I'd say about a 5.5-6/10. Decent to watch if you've got nothing else.

@coolboymew just doesn't feel like they capture the art style/feel of the manga, was my main complaint with Saihate no Paladin's adapation a year or two ago.

@Heil_Honkler Not gonna pick it up then. Wasn't planning to
Still need to finish the ep, but Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou has bottom tier budget
this could've been a godly Yuri under great direction, instead we're getting a very low budget gag comedy
To put more context, the various bullying scenario that the MC is responding positively to, which they're basically powering through as if it was a cheap gag comedy, is basically the bread and butter of the first book. The one thing that made it so delightful in a way. They should've been moments that should've been focused on more properly with care, as it's a yuri after all, but the budget, character art and possibly studio and direction is in the way

@coolboymew ya the only one with that theme, I mean isekaid villainess not yuri, that I ever got into was Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter (Kōshaku Reijō no Tashinami) so cannot form an opinion.
