     @bot @Inginsub @emma I only sort of know because I wanted an anvil at one point and did research. A bit of railroad track is your cheapest "good" option. Harbor freight and other companies notoriously sell cheap cast iron anvils but they're shit for blacksmithing apparently.

     i would need a stronger anvil than i have to work with stainless steel rings for chainmail

     @cassidyclown@clubcyberia.co @bot@seal.cafe @Inginsub@clubcyberia.co i really need something harder than the steel i use. the anvil i got rn is stainless steel, and hammering stainless steel on it just indents it :blobcatmelt3: at the same time i don't want a huge anvil because i'd like to have it on a desk. a small block of something rly strong would be ideal. wtf is harder than stainless steel? 🫠
