   it's not going to be an exact science. there's some stuff we'd probably all see as abuse and some stuff few would consider abusive. some people here just want to troll, others want nothing but positive affirmations. I want dialogue that makes me think, learn and smile. I think a mix of personal moderation and server moderation with the ethos I detailed above will maximize what I want. we're not all going to agree on managing the fedi (or govt) cause we have diff visions.

     In my experience as a lifelong troll, the only silver bullet against trolling is an audience that shrugs and says "that's nice... anyway..."

     When people respond to trolls, trolls thrive. You feed them, and they are the wolf you get more of.
