(mint@ryona.agency)'s status on Thursday, 21-Sep-2023 23:24:17 JST @Zerglingman Gentoo. Apparently, I compiled openssh with sctp useflag which got deprecated and thus is crashing the build process, then it rechecked dependencied due to --keep-going=y and threw said error because of OpenSSL update. -
Yukkuri (iamtakingiteasy@eientei.org)'s status on Thursday, 21-Sep-2023 23:25:09 JST Yukkuri @mint I did so too, until also got tired of doing manual updates. It's best for desktop with fancy architecture that nobody optimizes for by default. likes this. -
oruga@mstdn.jp's status on Friday, 22-Sep-2023 04:49:00 JST oruga @mint assuming this distro uses portage, just ```emerge -1 @world --nodeps``` and hope for the best
(seriously though, slot conflicts are usually bad use flags or unmasked packages)

(mint@ryona.agency)'s status on Friday, 22-Sep-2023 04:50:27 JST @oruga It threw an error regardless of useflags; apparently, they put a special warning in the ebuild that can only be overwritten by setting a custom envvar, which I did, and the build process seems to go fine now.
