It was some boomer opening a coin roll on a short that showed me you could find the occasional silver in the half rolls in the first place. Saw that, immediately went during lunch to clean out a bank of 12 rolls, and found a 40% silver Kennedy in the fourth roll. If I had found nothing that day I probably wouldn't have gotten into it.
Diggin' Dave got me into it. People say he fakes his videos, but he seems like an honest guy and most of his boxes give similar results to the ones I've opened, so I believe him when he stumbles across really good finds. I hope one day I can get a box like one of these. https://youtu.be/JGfEWysmg5s
@Hoss@istvan I've seen some YouTubers do similar and I think they usually get 1 or 2 silvers per box too. Maybe silver is getting out of circulation faster.
Yup. Got another 90% Kennedy halfway through the first box. I got four boxes this week since the branch I had been getting them from stocked boxes for me on Tuesday and the closer branch stocked their first boxes for me today. If I could reliably get to the former before close I'd maintain this four box arrangement I have with these two branches.
