   hmm, SD card fallback ("Manufacture SD/MMC boot") in usb serial downloader mode (when no usb host is present) seems to not work anymore in i.MX8MQ version AB (we had AA before on the modules by boundary devices). i can't find any errata about this though

     also, the eFUSE for gpio boot config is blown, so i think there is no more ability to boot directly from sd card with the newer modules :( only via uboot on eMMC. normally not a big problem, but it means the module is soft bricked if you overwrite the eMMC boot partition with something wrong.

     flashing via USB downloader mode & fastboot is possible. but not on our motherboards, because our usb hub is in the way. so we will need to offer a minimal usb unbricking board/adapter for people who get into this situation. similar to @jacqueline's debug board. (that one actually saved my ass today)
