  @bleedingphoenix @ChristiJunior @Tamamo @rainignterror1080p Gacha perpetuate some of the worst shit in gaming. Microtransactions, activity points, all the luck based shit (both with characters and equipment), and an eventual EOS.
  
  The gameplay usually isn't anything too fancy either (I get that there are exceptions, with Genshin probably being one of them). You could also say they are one of the few things that still give us good looking characters in games, but I'd rather have those characters not "wasted" for gacha games :shrug: And obviously they need the characters to look good, gotta get people to pull for them after all.
  
  Basically, if gachas continue to be so profitable then obviously that's what we're gonna keep getting, and this is why I'm so against them.

  @locagainstwall @ChristiJunior @Tamamo @rainignterror1080p well if we're comparing gameplay, Genshin has more features than any other gacha. it may be a BOTW clone, but it filled that niche sufficiently to the point i don't think i'll ever play Zelda. great atmosphere, soothing soundtrack, cute characters. it didn't even teach me how to roll for characters and to this day i don't know where to look.

  @locagainstwall @ChristiJunior @Tamamo @rainignterror1080p and i agree, only Genshin is the least gacha game of all. there's a lot of gameplay available with a large open space to make full use of the characters. and, again, you can play for free without ever having to buy anything. i can make an exception for this one, purely because as a gacha game it is one of the best ever made, and i think i'm being reasonable here. as i said before i genuinely do not feel the need to go play Zelda now that i've played Genshin, and that's no fault of Zelda's.
