     @Rasterman Hey, that's not anti-*pirating* the game, that's anti-*playing* the game. Also, I described his opinion as a "fair, middle-ground position", and since I'm obviously not taking the middle-ground position on that game, it's not my own stance, just an alternative opinion I consider reasonable.
     
     You know, like how I consider having Min Min as a Waifu a reasonable, defensible pick, even if the likes of Pyra and Mythra are superior. Some opinions are legitimate even if I disagree with them. Illegitimate opinions would be shit like shilling Baldur's Gay 3 as a Must-Buy GOTY, or being a Fatfag,

     I could go the rest of my life without ever playing Baldur's Gate 3, and also without ever running out of enjoyable games to play. Synthetic's a games youtuber so he feels compelled to play the current thing, but I'm not and don't feel that way. Any time I want I can pull out Ultima V and start mapping out the underworld again, or Ultima VI and try to beat the game again as a literal mouse.

     regardless maybe it's me being tired of this shit but my view is more militant, not only is my tolerance for this type of shit lower but i also apreciate my time more than this guy does, he fails to understand that woke crap or in other cases censorship is a big deal breaker for a lot of people, people are not "making themselves misserable", they are just choosing to go do something else while staying true to their morals.
     
     
     i sadly understand that there are people who just have to CONSOOM and so they pirate it hopefully, but i'd rather see those "good" games be buried by the sands of time and apathy

     @rlier23 @Rasterman He actually said that TotK is the better game, but that he's such a sucker for fantasy RPGs that he'd go for Baldur's Gay 3 just for that.
     
     He also said that BG3 objectively isn't even a 8/10 game, and that the reviewers giving it top scores never bothered even finishing the game.
     
     His post is a Cope, but not necessarily an unjustifiable one - I mean, I myself try to atone for buying Pokemon Sword by shitting on the game whenever I get the chance :shrug:

     @rlier23 @ChristiJunior Some people on twitter see me complain about new vidya adding more and more woke shit and think it's because I'm obsessed with politics, but the truth is that I just hate evil, ugliness and bad content. You can't tell them to draw a line if they think the games are still enjoyable, best you can do is just be unapologetic with what you think.
