   After so many years on dating apps, I've come to the conclusion that there aren't good women out there looking for a man. Those all get snatched up in high school and the few slower ones in college. Everybody left is a slut, a slut with kids, a slut who vehemently denies having been a slut despite it being obvious, and just extreme uggos. There is no valuable and aggressive 20 year old on OKCupid who is looking for a good man and deserves him.
   
   This culture has incorporated the primae noctis concept from Braveheart (real or not, idk, who cares) but instead of the nobleman fucking your wife, it's the general population of promiscuous men who fuck her first. It's not about their gratification but a reminder to the men that they are slaves to be abused by the system-rulers. Our enslavement is that bad and people refuse to talk about it because they don't want it to get even worse for them.

     DMing people on Twitter isn't any more normal than using a free dating app and sifting through the bots. I'd argue it's less normal because at least on a dating app, you make your intentions obvious from the start. And maybe that's the problem: women, by nature, seem to be very unwilling to be direct and honest. The idea of sitting down and creating an honest profile for yourself is like Kryptonite to them. They'd rather just go apply more makeup and take Myspace angle photos for Instagram likes.

     Well I still find it disgusting that those women, desirable or not, won't even get on a dating app and use it responsibly. They see it as beneath them, "not socially acceptable", as if finding your match and starting a family is a game you gamble on. I don't know, maybe I'm just in a really shitty part of the country for trad girls. It's not impossible.

     @c Dating apps are bottom of the barrel and there are weird expectations on there, I don't like it. If you're going to meet girls online it makes more sense to do it in a normal social context.
     
     That's how it works IRL, you don't just go up to a girl and say "I wish you to be my bride, here are my hobbies and my job."
     
     There's a reason the only dating apps that stayed popular are the ones that emulated Grindr. It's only conducive to casual sex, which you're not going to be having if you're 1: a good person, or 2: below average in anything immediately perceptible.

     It's still weird to me that he renamed the site because I thought for a second you meant /x/. I don't trust Elon Musk one bit but I'm glad he's killing off the power of that authoritarian libshit tool.
