That's pretty much exactly how I feel about it too.

The 1st gen Cummins are pretty simple and VERY reliable but the rest are just reliable and that's if you're lucky. The 6.9L Cummins or whatever the 24v second gen are make great power but like you say, the newer diesels are pretty complicated and VERY expensive.

Plus you have the retard "bros" who think rolling coal is so cool..they're the main reason why the tuners and stuff are getting banned by the EPA.
