I think the landlord scapegoat leftists make is a perfect illustration of an issue with many people, not just leftists. Namely, they hate those who know how to play system, rather than realizing that they should do the same thing a la survival of the fittest a la stirner. Utopia is not a thing, and theres far more justified to have problems with like those actually commiting large scale atrocities. Yes sure, not all landlords are great but honestly thats more of a per person basis and it's not their fault they exist as a system, that is your governments. Like tough like having change, atleast if you can learn to play the system to some extent. Call me individualist idc but being able to live without a formal job (ie work is voluntary and actually matters to you) should be the goal. Landlording is a way to achieve that. They aren't causing a problem, capitalism caused the problem, and these people are smart enough to know to fill the spots. It's called adaptation, skill really.

There's the saying "Don't hate the players, hate the game" but the amount of players is truly fucking everything up
