@Suiseiseki wireguard is not proprietary. The only proprietary junk is the drivers for certain hardware, most notably the wireless card.

@Suiseiseki I lied. I did have to install a desktop client for zoom because it didn't work in browser
-
@thatguyoverthere @Suiseiseki You can use OpenVPN without SubvertD

@charliebrownau @Suiseiseki openvpn is a dog. Wireguard is fast and doesn't impede performance in any way and is also basically zero config for her to deal with.

@charliebrownau @Suiseiseki I'd also say moving anyone from windows or Mac to linux is a step forward in the jihad regardless of flavor.

Wireguard™️ is not proprietary but make sure you call it WireGuard™️ or Jason Donenfeld™️ will murder you in your sleep.
Also don't try making an unauthorized WireGuard™️ implementation for an unsupported platform or he'll send his lawyers.
I love freedom

I'm no lawyer by any stretch, but I don't see huge probems with any of these licenses. The best license IMO would be something like the WTFPL or something.
