   man how can i feel bad for being shut out for growth and also bad for wanting to leave
   maybe i do need to take more vacations

     if bosses will literally call me a lead developer in the presence of other people then maybe my title/comp should reflect that or at least they could let me do the job that "lead developer" requires

     literally my project at job is better than a lot of other jobs that i hear about that make bajillion dollars but still have to manually be updated at night with downtime and stuff
     from a technical perspective i think i did good

     until you work for yourself, you must not feel too invested in your job. instead, focus on how you can further your knowledge, become better each day, work on your side projects, work on becoming your own boss. don't feel bad for switching for more money. don't feel bad for "abandoning" your team. it's just people in the same spot. even your manager, if he's not the owner, is just a hired gun. it's not your battle to fight. move to wherever the grass is greener /rant

     @kaia@brotka.st yeah it's just weird working for very small startup and seeing the having way too many hats but not enough to hire more people problem and feeling bad because you know everyone and they're not like capitalist kingpins or whatever. that in itself is just the startup problem, but the main problem is mostly them saying to me they want other people for their dev stuff, i'm just all they can afford right now, if they didn't say anything to me i wouldn't even be looking for anything
