   And who are those "mid women" choosing?
   
   Either guys with great looks, a lot of money, or an acceptable combination of the two.
   
   This means those without those traits will have less access to breed or not breed at all thus removing them from the gene pool.
   
   Those who give up will 100% be removed from the gene pool.

     The supply isn't the issue, selection is. Last I checked there was no demographic shortage of mid women.
     
     (this is why I used an article on sexual selection, as that's the real issue here)
