I haven't checked the prices lately but a little while back you could get a decent F250 4x4 with a 6.7L for 25,000-30,000 used, maybe a little more for lower miles and more options like King Ranch. Those are good trucks.

The Duramax with Allison is decent too but not as tough as the Fords. The Dodges have good engines but their automatic transmissions had issues for a while.

Around here a lot of the farmers actually prefer the gas engine Fords and the Chevys too but to a lesser extent.
