     @ChristiJunior Not only that, but the Soviet Union is responsible for the death and extinction of many groups of people — no, not like the Jews, we want those dead — we will never hear their languages spoken, all of that is GONE and the USSR is responsible for that.

     @zoomgoboom When the Soviet Union were the vicious imperialists wiping out whole cultures, religious communities and imposing communism on all close-by countries, the Left cheered.
     
     Now that the US is the imperialist bully constantly bombing wrongthinking countries and imposing its evil ideology, it has suddenly received the Left's stamp of approval.

     @ChristiJunior under the USSR, ethnic minorities were really fucked over hard, no effort was made to protect their language alongside Russian until it was far too late.
     
     The Russian federation is the largest nation on Earth; there are languages referenced in literature that have historically resided within the realm of Russia for centuries, it's unlikely they will survive much longer.
