So I watched the new Superman thing up to episode 3 (I think this is all we have right now?). I thought it was really cute but it kinda comes off as Legend of Korra fanfiction? Not that I’m complaining tho because I like the Avatar series (much more than Superman) but I could potentially see that turning some people off maybe?

I’m also kinda mildly annoyed by how they’re dealing with the main romance, it just kinda goes right in and it’s really in your face. I don’t hate the couple or anything it’s just that I wish there was some subtly or build up to it rather than a love at first sight thing but maybe they were worried kids wouldn’t understand if they didn’t constantly remind the viewer that Superman is going to smash Lois Lane every 5 minutes (we know, it’s cemented in pop culture by now). I like them tho at least, they made Superman like the perfect amount of himbo where I actually like it and it’s not annoying and Lois Lane is a chaotic gremlin.
