     most of them it kinda just goes back to sleep cause the antibodies don't need to be active 24/7

     @icedquinn @coolboymew the virus is a type of herpes, it lives in the nerves. the thing is, with the chickenpox vaccine, hardly any young folk actually catch it nowadays. wheres older folk get relapses in the form of shingles. I got shingles at age 32 and it fucking sucked. im also not the only one, seems more and more people are getting shingles at earlier ages possibly due to the lack of exposure to the virus.

     @coolboymew eh, for me it was just everything itching at first then hurting, i mostly went through it by taking anti-viral meds and vitamin supplements and shit, so the actual organism impact went down after a couple days, it was just the spots after that

     i've seen some discussion that old people hanging out with the children keeps them stronger. some of the adulthood diseases might be because of increased social isolation resulting in you no longer collecting naturally destroyed viral samples

     @coolboymew @icedquinn well the reasoning is, the kids from late 90s 00's get the chicken pox vaccine, thus they never contract the virus proper, leading to a decline in exposure to the virus. if your body isn't reminded periodically, the anitbody production for it goes down leading to a resurgence of the virus I.E. shingles. Shingles sucks balls big time but never as bad as full blown chicken pox and the reason is your body is already somewhat familiar with it. It's just gotta ramp up antibody production again to get it back under control. is why there are decade stretches between shingles outbreaks for a person.
