Frank Dux is absolutely a ridiculous arrogant liar, but the movie he inspired (Bloodsport) is undeniable top-tier 80s action that we need to watch again soon.
@coolboymew I have enough time to watch it on 7/23. @HiroProtagonist wanted to watch The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) then, and I can squeeze them both in before work.
@admin@noyoushutthefuckupdad that's gonna be a hard one to beat because the chat rated it perfect or nearly, and we played it twice. We never did that for any other movie
@noyoushutthefuckupdad@coolboymew Might I recommend The Perfect Weapon (1991) instead? I certainly have my opinions about Ed Parker’s Kempo, but Jeff Speakman is a really decent human being and his story about surviving throat cancer is an inspiration everyone can certainly draw from. Also, The Perfect Weapon is every bit as top-tier as Bloodsport in my humble opinion.
