   @redneonglow The cool side of Fedi will never stop being cool because we filter out the worst elements pretty well. If you have a thin skin you'll defed from us pretty quickly.

     One of my biggest concerns with #Meta #Facebook and #Threads is that it might make the #Fediverse "uncool".
     
     Like we were all Fediverse users before it was "cool", and now everybody is a Fediverse user, so it won't be fun anymore and we'll all leave.
     
     Think video games after Gamergate, or anime after the Twitter wokalizers took it over. The same thing might happen to the Fediverse.
