@ChristiJunior Tough call. On one hand, I have the highest admiration for Washington, who never gave up in the face repeated disaster and abject despair on the battlefield, when the war seemed all but lost and the British occupation troops were arrogantly partying in New York City. Washington’s Christmas Night crossing of the Delaware to murder the Britfags in their sleep was a ballsy, Spartacus-tier move. Even years after the war, Washington showed almost saintly character in voluntary relinquishing all the power he had, in leaving the presidency when his term was finished.
On the other hand, Thomas Jefferson, although a known oil-driller, I have to respect, because he sent the fledgling US Navy all the way to Tripoli to stomp a mud hole in the asses of a bunch of muzzie Barbary pirates who openly dared him to do anything about their raids on US merchant ships.
I guess for me it’s a tie between Washington and Jefferson.
