     @coolboymew It should've stayed simple like Ys and just be about a single hero and his multiple adventures in Hyrule and surrounding lands. None of this split-timeline, endless reincarnation cycle bullshit.

     @coolboymew @xianc78 Skyward Sword was SO FUCKING SHITTY that they had to go back to the drawing board in all aspects of game design for mainline Zelda titles. Then they proceeded to not learn their lesson, and TotK is the proof.
     I miss enjoying Nintendo games but it is what it is.

My gripe is that they did two decades of "A Link to the Past but it's [FILL IN THE BLANK GIMMICK]." Then that crashed and burned with SS, they made BotW, which was mostly a blank slate, and then proceeded to make "Breath of the Wild but it's [FILL IN THE BLANK GIMMICK]."
