I mean, it's kind of hard to gather examples that your cat cares about you, but Ajax used to jump as hard as he could on my stomach from a table above when I was lying on my couch. When he was a kitten it was funny and harmless but as he got bigger it turned into a real gut punch. One time he hit me wrong and I screamed and writhed in pain-- he has never done it again. I can see him when he's ready to jump down eyeing my stomach as a perfect landing point, stopping himself short, and aiming for my couch's cushion instead. He's a good boy.
