     @zeroraining107 Yup. DRC uses Akkoma, and as Graf mentioned in one of the replies to the post, it was only Pleroma software that is vulnerable. Nevertheless, myself and my host and our mods are all in agreement that we should keep DRC set to invite-only indefinitely. It’s a much safer route if someone who wants to make an account here contacts me or one of the mods directly, as that way we know in advance who we’re getting and that they don’t have nefarious motives.

     akkoma is literally pleroma but modified though.
     
     Misskey and Mastodon are not using the Pleroma codebase.
