>in USA, Tennessee, there is a test at the end of third grade in school
>if you fail that test, you fail the year and have to repeat it
>60% of all third graders in tennessee this year failed the test
????????????????????????????????????? whats going on there
-
@lebronjames75 Niggers.
-
@Marshall1Banana nigga tennessee is 77% WHITE, this is malicious on multiple levels that this has happened, there is 100% foul play at the top level here with some ulterior motive going on here
that, or the most incompetent possible state head of education in the history of the country, but at such a number i'd rather say malicious
-
@lebronjames75 the same thing happened in 2022, and 2021. they're not going to hold back all those kids, they'll get moved up to be stupid in 4th grade too
-
@deprecated_ii did they let them through, the last 2 years?
-
@lebronjames75 I'm sure they were, because the relevant law wasn't in effect
as far as I can tell the law only addresses reading in third grade and there are plenty of ways for a kid to still move on to 4th grade after failing to achieve competence
this isn't something unique to tennessee, about half the states in the country have some kind of third grade retention law. I don't know why "educators" are getting so pissy about this one, except it's going to cost them their paid summer vacation if a bunch of kids have to go to summer school to advance
