     even if ukraine has good commanders, they're crippled by their need to play to the world audience. they can't make good choices to preserve their forces because to the buffoonish political class, that looks like losing. at least in the short term

     @DW2 @Terry I remember at the beginning of this thing saying that the Ukes should of set up a strong defensive line behind Bakhmut while using Bakhmut to perform a delaying strategy so that the Russians would be tired when they hit their more prepared lines.
     I thought that was originally the plan when they said they had a line behind Bakhmut in the beginning.

     why does the bakhumut synagogue have a star of david made of 12 fleurs-de-lys encircling a cross made of four fleurs-de-lys what does that mean?
