THIS IS GETTING SO FUCKING OLD DUDE
- Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.

@Turkleton Well, I think both sides have committed war crimes. It's a war. People aren't nice to each other in war.
-
@wishgranter14 There is a couple videos I have seen of foreign volunteers shooting Russian pows during the first few months but tbh I have more saved video of Russians doing terrible shit than I expected to ever see. Which helps nobody btw..this shit just pisses people off even more so they are more likely to not take prisoners. Which sucks because the pow exchange was going pretty good there for a while.
-
@Turkleton I mean, I've seen dozens of images of people tied up, I doubt they were all thieves. Then there's Ukraine troops beating civilians half to death, grabbing them off the streets and into the meat grinder, someone being raped by barbed wire and on and on.
But having a pissing contest about who is more brutal in war is useless. War brings out the worst in people.
And virtually everything we hear about this war is certified propaganda, because there is a lot of money and resources not just in terms of right now, but a whole new world order will emerge from this. I don't think rooting for one side is useful, but trying to ascertain our place in the aftermath of it.
-
@Turkleton Ukrainian forces. You have seen those people strapped to posts as collaborators?
-
@wishgranter14 Those two people were thieves actually. Ukrainian forces do not torture people. Especially because they speak Russian. Because if they did they would have to torture themselves because literally everyone in Ukraine speaks Russian fluently or speaks it in the home. Zelensky had to learn Ukrainian after he was elected because he is a Russian speaker. There are so many Russian volunteers that they formed a military unit. You are getting Ukrainians mixed with Russian troops who decapitate and castrate people on film and then laugh about it later.
-
@Turkleton Yea, they only retreated because the cost/benefit analysis wasn't good. No reason to lose 10s of thousands of troops for something that isn't absolutely strategically necessary. I'm of the opinion they evacuated virtually all the ethnic Russians from the city in fear they would be tortured, and now it's a ghost town(at least according to someone on twitter.)
Although, by the end of the summer we should see just how bad our media has been lying to us.
-
@wishgranter14 tortured by whom? Just curious.
-
@wishgranter14 The problem is because you are a dissident and don't listen to or believe American news. And I don't blame you because it's absolutely full of shit most times. The Kremlin knows this so it can tell you whatever and you will believe it. It's actually smart on their part. It's how they rope in conservative types who didn't know Ukraine existed a year ago.
