     Neal has been ahead of the curve. He was already thinking about Bitcoin way back in Cryptonomicon (1999)
     
     This metaverse thing... not sold on it. 3D TVs failed for the same reason why VR will never go mainstream: too many people get sick from it.

     @nepfag there's one other but I can't see it lasting long. also they were all corporate attempts at enclosing a future 3D commons, none of them were decentralized, which is absolutely required if we didn't want it to be a hellscape.
