@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @Terry legal employment for russians only, Also I doubt it will go on for another year. These things cost money and the Russians like to be self sufficient with monies and will propbably stop when they hold a good chunk of Ukraine.
-
@MasterSimper @Terry ...They *do* hold a good chunk of Ukraine. Russia does not have the (realistic) ability to end the war - Ukraine is demanding concessions beyond what they had before (such as the return of Crimea).
The unfortunate reality is that Zelensky wants to continue the war because it means he gets to have financial support from western nations (which he can embezzle to make himself wealthy). You could also point out that he is a jew, and he places no value on the lives of Ukrainians - he is completely willing to slurp up billions of dollars in exchange for the low, low price of "the lives of people he hates."
-
@MasterSimper @Terry Rather, if it *does* end in that amount of time, then Russia will have won so thoroughly that rebuilding jobs will only go to Russians.
-
@MasterSimper @Terry That's a bad idea unless you're desperate - Ukraine is going to be a warzone for more than 1 year.
My understanding is that Russian military doctrine is primarily about "outlasting your opponent in a giant long slog." You should not expect this conflict to be over in one year, or even two.

@Terry >Scorching earth

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @Terry in a year I think im gonna move to Ukraine, reconstruction periods are always great. I plan to be a criminal doktor who helps whatever organization that takes over protection of stores.

In Bakhmut, Ukrainians blow up an apartment building rather than leave it to the Russians.
