I wonder if they'll reconsider their bullshit if it causes enough damage? :thonk:
Like, I'm not hopeful, given the history of this kinda thing, but maybe for once reason will prevail and they won't do something terminally retarded and damaging? :chino_dead:

Do you think Tumblr did after purging their site? Ha no, and even better nobody will replace it becuase despite the memes on here, alphabet people can't code when they're not being made to by their wagie boss.

On the other hand it's why I have a feeling if a internet federated art gallery happens it'll be from "this side" of the fedi because the other side struggles to get any projects off the ground, and is too busy tripping up over shit like AI art and whatnot. Plus they purity spiral far more often to the point it's unreal.

Well, what I'm "hoping" for here is that the purges (specifically the "anonymous content" purge) do enough collateral that it forces a reconsideration. Wishful thinking, I know, given that imgur is probably sustained exclusively by ESG diversitybux, but a man can dream, can't he? :dead_inside:

Only the side that gives a shit about purges (our side) will care, their side will run to the next plantation thinking it'll be better like foolish retards, time after time.
My long term goal with posting online is to remind people you don't need to keep cucking out to the same people who laugh at you like "holy shit the retard actually did it" when you play by their rules.

My problem has always been that maintaining a full archive of everything I enjoy is a full-time job, and I just don't have the time, money, or knowledge to do it successfully. :gura_pain:

I mostly focus on my niche brands of autism and torrenting vintage software. People have asked me to pass them UNIX software and I try to share it as many places as possible.
