     @monsterislandcolonizer @SerfnUSA I’m not even sure it CAN get worse. When I work from home I’ve genuinely started wondering if I need to have some more self-control because it’s getting in the way of work. It’d be one thing if she started up quickly but our sessions are rarely shorter than an hour.

     So far I’ve never wanted to ease off though, every bit of evidence has shown you can only ever decrease frequency, you rarely increase it

     @monsterislandcolonizer @SerfnUSA Then again my parents used to just close the door to their room and rail each other, when I finally pieced it together that they weren’t just having conversations behind closed doors my mom tried to lie and cover it up, but dad said “your darn right I’m railing your mother! You should be happy your parents love each other! Plus look at how pretty she is! Can you blame me?“

     After that we just kinda shrugged it off as the “king’s right”. He provided a stellar life for us, and as I got older I was happy for him, he deserved it. And their marriage is great to this day, one of maybe 2 that I see as marital role models.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @SerfnUSA You can def increase frequency. Trust me on this one. As time goes on you don't get LESS horny for each other you just have less time and energy to do anything about it on account of the time and energy required by parenting.

     @SerfnUSA I’ll dL it and add it to the list. She’s been forcing me to watch academia here and there. Actually the 6th season is pretty good, particularly measured against forgettable shonen fair at least. Some good music, good moments, and good lessons for the kids.

     Got it on a hiatus for now because we’re waiting to babysit the cousins before finishing it. Really hits so different when you have the theater system cranked with a bunch of kids cheering it on. All anime should be watched like that, every fight scene is like the super bowl

     @Humpleupagus @SerfnUSA @monsterislandcolonizer I think it’s good, it’s pretty normal everywhere else in the world. Lots of families just share a single room for the last 1,000 years, only weirdo 1st worlders act like people become sexless enemies after they have kids.

     Then again I’ve always thought I just inherited ‘lust’ as the family vice. Seems like all of us have higher sex drives than the norm. Maybe we’re just more honest about it.

Also I get a shared horndog vibe from her in some respects, to the point where I would believe it if she’s like a guy saying “dude lessie porn is the straightest thing there is! It’s ALL girls!!!”

     (For a diff. reason though, like disliking other girls because she either hates them, is jealous, distracted, etc)
