   Assuming Putin's numbers are accurate, Russia can manufacture 1600 new armored vehicles in the time it takes for the US and its client states to pull 400 out of storage and deliver them to the Ukraine.
   
   It does pass the fundamental logic check, since industrial capacity is vital for any modern war effort (actual war, not calling in air strikes on goatherders), and both Russia and China far outstrip the US empire in that regard.

     @BobsonDugnuttHB I read part of the contract tender for overhauling the M1’s….they basically admit that the last time took about 5 years before the first one left the overhaul line. It was quoted as 3 or something. Plus you have to have certed S guys for the armor disassy.

     It’s very silly when you think about it. If this is really an existential battle for democracy…then why can’t they move heaven and earth to ship 300 tanks like they did in 1942? Aren’t they admitting inferiority on that front? Sure, heavier, more complex, but we have black girl magic and super technology, we can fly them over in pairs!
