Drunk friend said he'd "suck my c**k" in front of everyone
So this happened a few weeks ago, I've been trying to forget about it but it keeps bothering me. I've had this friend for 9 years, for most of those we would spend a week or so on vacation in the summer with our friend group. During our vacation, we went to this hotel bar with myself and three of my male friends as well as this friend ( well call him A) A's dad and his friends. We were on a balcony room and this was this the second or third bar that night so we were a bit drunk at this point.
I don't remember how it came up exactly, I was joking around with A and said something along the lines of " you suck" or "suck it" to which A said WAY too loud "I'll suck your cock!"
The balcony was relatively small, unless others were really not paying attention: I'm sure our other friends, As dads group, and the table behind us (as well as the server) would have heard him. I stared in shock for a moment before giving him an upset look and sarcastically going "okay whatever" in barely a whisper and stopped talking to him immediately.
(He has a girlfriend btw)
I was mad. Really mad. It was so humiliating. I'm pretty sure based on the looks everyone was giving me the rest of the night, that everyone heard. The server came over to ask if I was doing okay and looked sympathetic, that was nice of her but I couldn't do much but sit there and sip my drink.
Because I was doing less talking and more drinking, I begins to feel the influence of the alcohol more strongly. After maybe 10 or 15 minutes I look back over and see A with a picture of his cat. I love animals and A knows this well, especially cats. Drunk me totally forgot about what happened for a moment and started gushing about how cute this cat was. When I was done, I looked back up at him and he looked extremely guilty. I had never seen such a guilty look on someone's face. I thought that maybe he leveraged his knowledge and his picture to get me back in his good graces but then felt bad about it when it worked well on inebriated me. I was quiet again sipping my drink until I finished it and we left.
He never apologized, btw.
EDIT: So I confronted him a week after this post, at first he didn't remember but he was very apologetic and said he wouldn't do it again. Thanks for the comments! Especially to the people who said I should talk to him and make a boundary. He said he would try to do better and apologize if he made any more mistakes. I decided to trust him as my friend. I feel a lot better as if a weight has been lifted off my chest.
