   @RustyCrab I like tasteful, minimal uses of internet connections, for things like leaderboards, Dark Souls-style in-game notes, and Elona-style awareness of how other people playing the game are doing. Some guy just eaten by a bear? LMAO LOSER. It's cheap, not obtrusive, makes the game feel more alive without actually having a bunch of assholes standing around doing erotic roleplay.

     program that just does things on your computer and doesn't connect to the internet
