     So, we have Orion, which is absurdly expensive and currently flies on probably the most expensive rocket in history (which still isn't really done yet). We have Starliner which isn't considered safe, isn't done, and at this rate, may NEVER be done. And we have Dragon, which works great, but is brought to us by an unhinged space-Nazi. We need to fund the crewed version of Dream Chaser, and we need to do it yesterday, to provide SOME balance to SpaceX.

     And maybe see if Starliner can be bought out of Boeing's chaos and maybe brought in-house at NASA to see if their engineers can do anything better with it. I'm skeptical that anybody left there has the knowledge and experience needed, but who knows?
