     @arstechnica This will fail. You have no right to drive on public roads. Driving is a privilege.

     @arstechnica Can anyone get access to the data? For example, can someone request access to the data as evidence to exonerate themselves at a trial? I'm guessing no, it exists only for law enforcement to use as a cudgel.
