As Mitra's development continues, I feel like the "accept supports in XMR" side of things is getting covered well. The "give XMR to support" side is still hampered by a lot of people not having XMR (or any other cryptocurrency) to give.
Not a lot that can be done about that at scale, of course, but I'd like to make a video on some of the less well-known, less obvious ways to acquire XMR for people who might want to participate in the economy but can't. Obviously using an exchange (CEX or DEX) to buy BTC or something else to turn into XMR is an option, but not everybody can/wants to do that.
Sites like moneromarket.io are far from ideal (centralized clearnet website, not open-source) but I've used it enough times now to know it works and isn't an out and out scam. You might still get ripped off by another user if you're not careful and discerning, but for the risk-tolerant it's a decent enough way to turn second-hand goods or gift card codes and the like into small amounts of XMR.
