     @arstechnica Thats thanks to the European Union forcing Phones to have replacable batteries. Apple is not being nice here, they're just doing what they have to. It would be too expensive to have an different board layout etc. just for the EU Phones.

     The same goes for the USB C Port, apple is being forced to do it.
