   I accidentally deleted my entire root desktop because of a dumb mistake with an upgrade. Dumped all deleted files multiple times, including with photorec.
   
   It took me 8 hours, but thankfully I've already found most of my critical files!

     @Zergling_man @Diceyocean No, but it was mostly trying to find something that worked. I hoped to find a program that would work faster/more efficiently, but after several failures I just had to throw in the towel and use some cleverly placed greps.

     @Zergling_man @Diceyocean Also I really need to do a new backup of this partition lol. If I had kept up on backups would have only taken like an hour. 😩
