   never was a fan of web3 mainly because im not a fan of the web, but i also think many of their problems are imaginary and the rest are already covered by long-existing efforts

     @opal The problem is that many of these blockchains used for Web3 aren't decentralized at all. The only truly decentralized blockchain I know of is Monero's blockchain.

     @xianc78 the problem is they cna only think in terms of blockchain while many things already have better-suited backends and algorithms
