     Work has always had a performative component, but since most people stopped working in the fields and started working on code, it's almost exclusively performative.

     @nixCraft I catch myself browsing the fediverse everytime I'm stuck on a problem. I wish it solved the problem, but it won't, though I do feel like I'm gonna keep doing it until it does.
