If the FX pak has the chips I recommend it. You really want one with an SA-1 Chip so you can play some games that were patched for it like Super Ghouls and Ghosts and Gradius 3 that patched with SA-1 removes the slowdown and makes them a whole different game.

@MrMike88 @ChristiJunior @Economic_Hitman @coolboymew @lichelordgodfrey @miscbrains @troubledturtle Sadly the Super NT when jailbroken doesn't have enough FPGA cores to replicate all the add-on chips so SA1 and CX-4 games aren't supported on jailbroken and need a flash card to play them. Luckily I got most of the games already that need special chips though with the more expensive games like megaman X2/X3 I went with the super famicom versions since paying $300+ for Megaman X3 is retarded.

Ah sweet then it's totally worth it.

Only other chip that matters is CX-4 if you care about Megaman X2 / X3. Rock and Forte and MMX 1 don't require special chips to my knowledge.
