Given where he was I think he was working on sonar? Idk, he was one of the few in the world qualified for it, even as he was giving me the simple version of the math for retards it was p clear to me I was way outclassed intellectually
   
   The usn poached him from China and got him a green card. I assume they viewed it as a joint project
