OwlTheir devs are the ones who said "bro it's like Dark Souls with guns" so no there's no brain rot on my part and second, that second thing is just wrong. Dark Souls sets the standard for a reason, whereas all the people aping the series just go heh let's throw 69 + 420 enemies in a room with a boss with environmental hazards and instant death, that's not "doing it better" than the originals.
