     There is a small community of people who run onion and i2p fediverse instances. What kind of collaboration with core is possible, or needed?

     @sadiedoreen It works quite well, ActivityPub can tolerate increased latency. However, federation between clearnet and I2P instances requires additional configuration on the clearnet side, so I2P network remains very small (but we have ideas how to fix that).

     hey @iwojima @mint perhaps you can write a guide and post it on a forum?

     @silverpill It may be of benefit to post to I2P forums about how you are doing what you are doing, how well it is working and any docs that can support people who are interested in also doing this.

     @silverpill @iwojima @mint @sadiedoreen I'm yet to try setting up Mitra, and with Pleroma that proxied federation aspect is somewhat buggy, I even had to patch the source a couple times to iron those parts out. I still convince fellow admins to try it out once in a while, but that'll likely be the extend of that until some either technical or cultural shift happens towards integrating it further.
